Yup, it's almost Super Bowl time. The playoffs are going pretty as regards to expected because the favorites are taking the games in good fashion. It was inevitable that the Colts and the Chargers would get knocked off this past week, and that i couldn't see Cincinnati winning the week before, despite the fact that they were the favourite within the game. This week the true tests begin, although it's still expected (by me) to be a Seattle - Broncos Super Bowl with Seattle's Air Attack taking the show.

However, the sport at Mile High Stadium in Denver this week would be the first time in quite some time where the Patriots are playing at full throttle, and Brady can be trying to make the most of the Bronco's lack of cornerback Chris Harris, who tore his ACL. Search for a large number of scores, with the Broncos holding on.

Of course those of you with a future bet at the Broncos (yes, lots of people put their money there) to win the Super Bowl might get slightly nervous this week, and that i know a few of you can be laying-off a couple of dollars at the Patriots simply to remember to cash. That's alright, I HAVE BEEN known to hedge my bets somewhat too. Not this week for me, though.

I've also been known to head ahead and hedge my bets after I make the general table of a poker tournament. I prefer a save, where a little of the primary and second-place money is taken away and added to the opposite spots (often 3rd through 9th), but most players appear to need to chop the cash as soon they hit that final table. I AM NOT that gigantic keen on the chop, but I NEED TO admit that i am not that strong at the final table, so I usually vote with the majority, which really is against my constitution.

However, unlike many players who say, "Gee, the tournament have been so long, I'm tired, let's chop," I always wish to play slightly longer, a minimum of until we get right down to 4 or 5 players. Believe me, should you can hang on and get a chop with 5 players, the quantity you pocket will always be significantly higher than the quantity of chop you get if you find yourself splitting twice the spots, and it is not just double! In case you can hold on, you're going to get 2.5 to 3x more, and for me, that's worth waiting for.
