She and previous hubby Kris Benson -- who had a decade long Major League Baseball career as a glass -- split up in 2012 and it's apparently been rough sledding for her, leading as much as her arrest for breaking into Benson's home and dangerous him with a gun and a metal baton.
Benson called police in Georgia and said that she'd broken into his home demanding money and was armed with a gun, a baton, and was wearing a bulletproof vest. Anna was apparently upset a couple of court order that'd forced her to transport out of the home and threatened him with both the gun and baton, at which point he promised to move get her money but instead fled the scene and called the cops.
Anna Benson made headlines during Kris' playing days for many outlandish statements and stunts, reminiscent of threatening to sleep with all of the Ny Mets team if her loving hubby ever cheated on her.
She parlayed her moment within the spotlight right into a spot at the "Baseball Wives" reality series and was sponsored by a web based poker room for a temporary time frame -- fittingly called golddigger.com.
The two are still legally married but separated in 2012 with Kris filing for divorce shortly after, with Anna then claiming that he'd cheated on her (but apparently not following through on her threat to sleep with all of the The big apple Mets).
Anna is outwardly still cooling her heels in jail after being picked up and charged with felony aggravated assault with a weapon, criminal trespass, and possession of a firearm in the course of the commission of a crime.
