The casino is a thrilling place to go to. Players visit the casino for various reasons. Some make the effort to be informed the talents had to play the games with the principle goal of winning money. The vast majority of players visit the casino for entertainment. Playing the games is an enjoyable experience and the lure of winning money adds to a player's excitement. Some players benefit from the adrenaline rush and experience a high that accompanies the fun once they risk their money at the games. For some this sense will also be seductive and welcoming and a few players succumb to the darker side of gambling, addiction.

Addiction is a compulsive need. What starts as a pleasurable experience becomes an uncontrollable destructive craving. Some people become hooked on alcohol, drugs, sex, food and gambling. When the joys of the sport outweighs everything else, the player has crossed over the road from player to addict. Gambling, like every addictions can also be devastating for the individual and his family.

Gamblers Anonymous has an inventory of Twenty Questions for anyone who feels they will have a gambling problem. I'VE received permission to reprint them here and that i urge everyone to take a moment to read during the list of questions.

With any form of addiction the addict must admit that they have got an issue. Many addicts are in denial in their problem. If you happen to know someone who's hooked on gambling but refuses to assist themselves there are organizations that may allow you to. When it becomes greater than a game it's time to get help. There are lots of resources where a player can find help.
