As far as overall Grammy nominations, Macklemore & Ryan Lewis were nominated for seven different categories, topped only by Jay-Z and his record nine nominations previously. Lorde had four total nominations, although she was suprisingly overlooked of the running for Best New Artist.
Justin Timberlake was also nominated for seven Grammys, with Drake nominated for 5 and Daft Punk and Bruno Mars each nominated for four awards.
